Darshan Karwat is an unexpected academic and assistant professor at Arizona State University. There, he runs re-Engineered, an interdisciplinary group that embeds environmental protection, social justice, and peace in engineering. He’s happy to talk you about space, environment, soccer, and food. He’s also happy to discuss his experiences in government, non-profit organizations, and professional societies. If you, too, are passionate about a different kind of engineering future, he wants to hear from you.

Mercer XLab's Take It, Break It, Make It Contest, Presentation Event will take place on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 6:00pm to 7:30pm in JEC 6012. Any student can take apart electronics, find how a part of it functions, and make it part of your learning experience in your classes or personal project.

The Mercer XChange event for Alumni Weekend was held on Saturday, October 14th from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. This hybrid event was an active discussion of participants with various engineering backgrounds from locations across the the U.S. including one participant from Sweden. Students presented their interests and alumni added contributions to ideas.  In the end, all participants saw the progress of the Mercer XLab renovation!Agenda
